Starbucks India has strengthened its premium presence in the capital with the launch of North India’s second Starbucks Reserve store at Hamilton House. Situated in the iconic Connaught Place district the new Reserve outlet marks another milestone in the brand’s long standing connection with the location where its flagship café has served as a popular community destination for several years.

The development was announced by Sandeep Joshi, Regional Operations Manager at Starbucks India, highlighting, "Connaught Place has always held a special significance in the Starbucks India journey. For over a decade, the original flagship store here was a place of connection, for partners and customers alike; where conversations, communities and memories were built. This new Reserve store respectfully honours that legacy while looking ahead. Through curated artwork inspired by Delhi’s cultural vibrancy and India’s coffee journey from farm to cup, the space reflects a true Sangam of local heritage and Starbucks’ global ethos.

Starbucks India Reserve stores showcase the brand’s premium café concept featuring rare small batch coffees artisanal brewing techniques and elevated store experiences. These outlets are designed to offer a more immersive and experience driven coffee environment for consumers seeking specialty beverages and curated dining experiences.

The first Starbucks Reserve store in India was launched in Mumbai followed by expansion into other key metropolitan markets. The stores feature specialised brewing methods such as pour over Chemex and siphon brewing along with an exclusive food and beverage selection.

Starbucks entered India in 2012 through a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Consumer Products and Starbucks Corporation. Since then the company has steadily expanded across major Indian cities while focusing on premium café experiences and localised offerings. The continued expansion of Reserve stores reflects the brand’s strategy to strengthen its position in India’s growing premium coffee and experiential retail segment.
