Menswear brand SNITCH is taking its offline expansion further into Northeast India with the upcoming launch of a new store in Dimapur, Nagaland.
The development was announced by Chetan Siyal, Founding Member & CMO, SNITCH, through a LinkedIn post. He highlighted the brand’s strategy of exploring markets beyond conventional retail expansion hubs and establishing a presence in emerging locations.
According to Siyal, the Dimapur store reflects SNITCH’s interest in entering markets that may not traditionally feature on the retail expansion map. The move will allow the brand to introduce its collections to a new consumer base while gaining first-hand insights into local preferences through direct customer interactions.
The new store will offer consumers in Dimapur an opportunity to experience SNITCH’s menswear range in a physical retail environment, including trying on products and exploring the collections in-store.
Founded in 2020, SNITCH operates through a direct-to-consumer and omnichannel model. Its portfolio includes shirts, trousers, denim, co-ords, outerwear, accessories and other contemporary menswear categories.
The brand has been expanding its offline presence alongside its digital business, adding stores across metropolitan, Tier II and emerging markets. Its physical retail strategy complements its digital-first approach by offering customers a more hands-on shopping experience, supported by fitting and styling assistance.
The upcoming Dimapur store marks another step in SNITCH’s efforts to expand its physical footprint and establish direct consumer connections across new markets. The move also gives the brand an opportunity to study regional preferences as it builds its presence in Northeast India.
