P.F. Chang’s has opened its first restaurant in Mohali at HLP Gallerria, marking its entry into the Tricity region and further expanding its presence in North India. The launch is part of the brand’s broader strategy to tap high-potential markets beyond traditional metro cities.
Founded in 1993, P.F. Chang’s has built its global identity around wok-based cooking techniques rooted in nearly 2,000 years of culinary tradition. Today, the brand operates over 300 restaurants across 20+ countries, known for its high-heat wok cooking, scratch preparation, and Asian-inspired flavours.
With the addition of its Mohali outlet, P.F. Chang’s has expanded its India presence to eight restaurants. Earlier, the brand operated seven outlets across Mumbai and Delhi NCR. The Mohali launch marks its debut in Punjab and signals a growing focus on emerging dining destinations in North India.
The India operations are managed by Gourmet Investments Pvt. Ltd, which oversees the brand’s development in the country. The Mohali opening is also aligned with the company’s ongoing market development plans in India. Taylor Viersen, Vice President of Global Brand Development at P.F. At the Mohali restaurant, P.F. Chang’s continues to highlight its signature high-heat wok cooking, carried out at approximately 700 degrees to enhance flavour and texture. The outlet offers a range of globally popular dishes, including Chang’s Lettuce Wraps, Dynamite Shrimp, and Kung Pao Chicken.
Catering to local preferences, the menu also features vegetarian and Jain-friendly options, alongside signature items such as Great Wall of Chocolate, Orange Chicken, and Lo Mein. The brand maintains its quality benchmark by serving all dishes MSG-free.
