Miraggio, one of India's leading handbag and accessories brands, has opened its second store at Inorbit Mall, Vashi, marking its entry into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, one of the country's most closely watched fashion and retail markets. The launch continues Miraggio's shift from a digital-first brand to one building a physical retail network, giving customers who've so far only encountered Miraggio online a store to walk into for the first time
Built on a digital-first foundation, Miraggio has spent years understanding exactly what its customers love and what they've been quietly asking for: a chance to experience the brand in person. The new store answers that question, shifting the experience from scrolling and browsing to seeing the bags up close, understanding their proportions and details, and considering how they fit into everyday life. In an offline-first market like India, the move marks a strategic step in bringing the brand closer to consumers through a high-impact physical touchpoint.
Spanning 534 sq. ft. and located on G2 Floor, the store translates Miraggio’s contemporary aesthetic into a warm, considered space. A palette of soft creams and muted sand tones sets the foundation, while sculptural forms, curved surfaces, and carefully positioned lighting give the interiors a sense of movement. The space is anchored by a distinctive oval ceiling element, complemented by illuminated niches that frame the collections and create a softer, more atmospheric retail experience.
Commenting on the launch, Mohit Jain, Founder & CEO, Miraggio, said, “The opening of our Vashi store is an important milestone as we deepen Miraggio's presence in Mumbai, one of India's most influential fashion and retail markets. After the strong response to our Chennai store, we've seen how much our consumers value experiencing Miraggio beyond the screen, and we're excited to bring that experience to Navi Mumbai. As we continue to grow our retail footprint, this is another step toward building a deeper connection with our consumers across the country.”
The design is intentionally intuitive, allowing customers to move through the space at their own pace and discover pieces across categories and occasions rather than navigating a traditional product-led layout. From work bags and spacious totes to shoulder bags, crossbody styles, wallets, and everyday accessories, the assortment brings together the breadth of Miraggio's universe, while giving the physical store a role beyond commerce - a place where the brand's visual identity, texture, construction, and functionality, elements typically encountered separately online, come together in one experience.
The Navi Mumbai opening forms part of Miraggio’s broader move into physical retail as the brand builds a presence across key metropolitan markets. With plans to open more than 10 stores during FY 2026, the brand is approaching each location as an opportunity to create a distinct physical expression of its identity, rather than simply replicate a standard retail format.
For Miraggio, the move into physical retail is ultimately about changing the way its customers experience the brand. The new Vashi store brings the digital world that introduced consumers to Miraggio into a setting where they can interact with the products, explore the collections, and experience the brand in a more tangible way.
