Kalpaney has strengthened its presence in Bengaluru with the launch of its second outlet in Indiranagar, building on the response to its flagship restaurant in JP Nagar. The expansion reflects the brand’s continued focus on reimagining vegetarian dining through a contemporary and globally inspired approach.

Designed to complement Indiranagar’s dynamic culinary landscape, the new restaurant offers an immersive dining environment with expansive interiors, a dramatic double-height entrance, handcrafted ceramics sourced from Khurja artisans, and design accents inspired by Kalamkari and other Indian art traditions.

The menu retains several of Kalpaney’s signature dishes, including Garlic Truffle Khichdi, Avocado Carpaccio with Izu Soya, and the Kalpaney Sushi Boat, while introducing newer creations such as Mathri Makhana Chaat, Raw Mango Avocado Roll, Jackfruit Dimsum, and Podi Mac & Cheese Arancini. Other offerings like Mushroom Galouti with Zafrani Parotta and Bhatti ka Paneer continue the brand’s blend of Indian flavours with global dining formats including vegetarian sushi, inventive chaats, and contemporary small plates.

Getting nostalgic about the new opening, Avinash Kapoli, Founder of Kalpaney, shared, “Indiranagar is where Kompany Hospitality first put down roots, it is the neighbourhood that shaped how we think about hospitality, about spaces, and about the kind of experiences worth building. Bringing Kalpaney here felt like a natural completion of that circle; a chance to give back to the community that gave us our foundation and to build something that truly belongs to this place.”

“Every dish at Kalpaney begins somewhere personal, a memory from childhood, flavour that stayed long after a meal was forgotten. At Indiranagar, that philosophy remains at the heart of everything we have put on the plate. What has evolved is the conversation those memories are now having with the world, with techniques and influences gathered across borders and kitchens,” added Chef Sombir Chaudary, Head Chef, Kalpaney.

Positioned as a no-alcohol dining concept, Kalpaney’s beverage programme highlights layered flavours and locally inspired ingredients. Signature creations such as Imli ka Khajur, School Days, and Khatta Sharbat remain key offerings, complemented by the introduction of kombucha in three flavours across both restaurant locations.

Looking ahead, the brand is pursuing a calibrated expansion strategy across select cities, with the Indiranagar outlet representing a key milestone in its journey to build an experience-driven vegetarian dining identity while remaining anchored to its core culinary philosophy.
