Tell us a bit about your entrepreneurial or professional journey.
My entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by years of hands-on experience in building and scaling businesses understanding consumer behavior and working closely with on-ground operations. Over time, I have learned that sustainable businesses are built on discipline consistency and a deep respect for customers. Each phase of my journey reinforced the importance of solving real problems and creating systems that scale responsibly.

What prompted you to start WomanCart?
The idea for WomanCart emerged from everyday shopping experiences with my mother and my wife. I noticed how often women had to adjust compromising on comfort hesitating to ask questions or settling for limited choices. While many stores existed very few truly understood women’s needs.

I realized that women don’t need endless options they need trust clarity and care. WomanCart was created as a space where women feel comfortable respected and confident especially while purchasing personal and lifestyle products.

When and how did WomanCart start? How was the experience of being a D2C brand?
WomanCart began as a D2C-first platform with the vision of offering curated reliable products for women under one roof. The D2C journey allowed us to stay closely connected with customers understand their concerns in real time and adapt quickly. This approach helped us build strong fundamentals around speed transparency and consistency—values that continue to define the brand.

What led to WomanCart expanding offline into physical stores? How has that experience been?
As the brand evolved we recognized that many women still value physical interaction particularly in categories such as beauty wellness and personal care. Expanding offline was a natural progression. Our stores are designed as safe welcoming spaces where women can explore products comfortably. The offline presence has strengthened trust improved brand recall and complemented our digital channels effectively.
